If you feel inspired by Andy Murray or Laura Robson, why not join Orwell Tennis Club? Here in Orwell you can play all year round, whatever your age or ability. Whether you are a complete beginner who wants to learn how to play, a social player who wishes to play at a recreational level, or a veteran team player brushing up on your skills, we would love to have you as a member!

Tennis club membership is also open for new members.

Coaching

Our coach, Matt Sanders from Over & In coaching, has been providing Orwell tennis club with some excellent coaching for juniors and adults. He is not only a great tennis coach, he has a 2.1 in Sports Science from Durham University and is a first class sportsman. Alongside his tennis qualifications, Matt also has qualifications in cricket and football and, unlike many, is extremely gifted at these sports and plays all to a very high standard. Whether you are a total beginner or a high level tennis player we think you would be hard pushed to find a better coach!

Coaching Programmes

Mondays 3.30 -7.30pm for 5yrs to adult ( term time only) from Easter.

Saturdays 9.00 -10.00am for minis 5-8yrs (term time only) from Easter.

Sunday Club Tennis

Sundays 10.15 – 12.00pm these are run by coach Matt Sanders and cater for all abilities.

Matches

We currently run five teams in the Cambridgeshire league – a ladies in division 5, two mixed teams in divisions 5 and 10 and a vets team (where ladies and men over 45yrs) in division 4.
