Orwell Village Hall

Orwell Village HallFacilities and Booking Arrangements.

Orwell Village Hall is situated in the High Street, and consists of a large hall with a stage, a kitchen and a committee room.  There are toilet facilities in the entrance hall, refurbished to a high standard in 2016 to include excellent facilities for disabled users, and at the rear of the committee room.  The hall is used by a variety of village societies and for Parish Council meetings as well as for one-off events such as concerts and parties.

The hall is run by a Management Committee, including representatives of the Parish Council and representatives from various groups in the village, all serving as trustees.

Three officers look after the management of the hall on a day-to-day basis:

The hall is a registered charity. It belongs to the village of Orwell, and the Committee urges everyone in the parish to use the hall for group use and for entertainment and private functions too.

The Committee is grateful for the support of the Parish Council in helping to keep the hall operational and in good repair.
